10am congregation - family service

We live in a world shot through with the glory, presence and purpose of God, who is building his gracious kingdom. Of course, it is hard to see it sometimes - maybe even most of the time - and we all still struggle in the daily battles of life.

Our 10am family service is a haven of spiritual reality and encouragement in what can feel like a harsh, or perhaps seductive, world. As we sing the praises of our great God and saviour, bring our lives under the light and power of his word, and pray for God to act, you can almost feel the growth happening around you.

The music, led by our excellent band, is a blend of the best contemporary choruses and stirring classic hymns. The sermons seek to bring the word of God to bear in the reality of 21st century life, with a powerful mix of Bible explanation, humorous illustration and practical application. We celebrate the Lord's Supper, that very significant moment of remembering and 'feeding on' Christ's death for us, on the second Sunday of each month.

While the adults are doing their thing, during term time the children are in "Kids' Church", our comprehensive Sunday School program. During the school holidays, the kids move into a special program of community building and fun, as well as joining the adults for special presentations.

Standing firmly on the Word of God in humility and obedience, and standing lovingly alongside each other in grace and friendship, we seek to grow more and more as fully devoted children of God.
